The Wyoming Arts Council offers a number of grants and fellowships annually for creative writers and journalists. (Note:  a number of these have been put on hold this year due to funding limitations). Click here to learn more.

PUBLICATIONS ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS

Moon City Review

Moon City Review accepts submissions of fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, graphic narrative, translations, and book reviews. Since submissions are open year-round, response times may be slower in the summer. Learn how to submit HERE.

The Cincinnati Review

The Cincinnati Review welcomes submissions from writers at any point in their careers. We read between September 1 and March 1, with an exception: miCRo submissions are open year-round, excluding the time during which we accept contest submissions. Find out how to submit HERE

Main Street Rag

Main Street Rag is a publishing company that produces a literary magazine, anthologies, and other books. They also have contests. You can learn more HERE.

The Sun

The Sun publishes interviews, essays, fiction, and poetry. They would also like provocative pieces on political and cultural issues. They pay up to $2,000.00 for interviews and essays, $1,500.00 for fiction, and $200.00 for poetry. Work must be sent by mail. Find guidelines HERE
