PUBLICATIONS ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONSMoon City ReviewMoon City Review accepts submissions of fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, graphic narrative, translations, and book reviews. The Cincinnati ReviewThe Cincinnati Review welcomes submissions from writers at any point in their careers. We read between September 1 and March 1, with an exception: miCRo submissions are open year-round, excluding the time during which we accept contest submissions. Find out how to submit HERE. Main Street RagMain Street Rag is a publishing company that produces a literary magazine, anthologies, and other books. They also have contests. You can learn more HERE. The SunThe Sun publishes interviews, essays, fiction, and poetry. They would also like provocative pieces on political and cultural issues. They pay up to $2,000.00 for interviews and essays, $1,500.00 for fiction, and $200.00 for poetry. Work must be sent by mail. Find guidelines HERE.
